In this day and age, the energy transition has been discussed a lot and a lot is being done in it. From gas to electricity, to wind and solar energy or even to hydrogen. In all these areas we have sufficient knowledge and we have developed beautiful products such as inverters, converters, Battery Management Systems for local energy storage which is also locally sourced and used locally.
We have all the knowledge in controlling climate control systems such as (Hybrid) heat pumps and
ventilation applications within the HVAC.
Finally, we can develop controls for battery systems in Maritime but also Private environments and we support the car charging solution industry.
For our client Quatt, we developed a complete product for controlling their heat pump system in a short period of time. The “Commander in Chief” is the heart of the installation and provides the connection of the heat pump, room thermostat and boiler to Quatt’s back-end system.
Collaboration
This project is a good example of Betronic’s collaboration with its customers. The client has an in-house team of software engineers who developed both the embedded software and the back-end software. An outside design firm translated Quatt’s wishes into an expressive design. Betronic’s role focused on the development of the hardware ( PCB ) with all the necessary interfaces, the production readiness of the housing and the realization of the moulds for the plastic parts.
This successful collaboration resulted in a very short Time to Market for the product.
Production
From the first products, the product is fully produced at Betronic and delivered as a complete end product complete in pieces packaging. The experiences of installers and users are incorporated into updates. A great example is the addition of a drilling template in the housing for the installer, which makes the installation process another step better.
